Joanie is a private assistant for invited users managing shared tasks and calendars. By using Joanie, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

What Joanie sends

Joanie sends replies to member-initiated household task and calendar requests, confirmations of completed actions, and reminders that a household member requested. Joanie does not send marketing or promotional messages.

Text-message consent

An invited user requests SMS access by sending START to +1 415 718 0927. Joanie verifies the invitation before enabling messages.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your requests and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.

Stop and help

Reply STOP to opt out of Joanie text messages. Reply HELP for help, or email hey@joanie.app. Reply START to resume after opting out.

Approval links

Some Joanie messages may include a secure link to review a proposed calendar action. The link opens an authenticated page for that exact proposal; it does not authorize a different action or disclose the proposal to anyone else.

Service limits

Joanie is not an emergency service. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You can stop using Joanie at any time by replying STOP.
